America and Canada Road Trip Mapping.

Image
Mapping the Way from America to Canada. By Keylowha 10/12/2016 I am super excited. I just got my passport a few weeks ago and Shridhar and I got news that we get to go to Canada. We really like to travel and I have pretty much seen all of America, there are still a few states I need to go to. Besides America, I have also been to Mexico many times (you know back when people didn’t need a passport to go there). But Canada! Wow! How this happened was Shridhar actually just got a new job there so he is moving to Canada. Since he has a car that was actually manufactured in Canada, he can take his car with him instead of having to sell it and get a new one. This means we get to drive to Canada. I can’t believe it. We are super e xcited because not only do we get to go to Canada but we get to road trip there as well. So the trip will start in Saint Louis, Missouri and end in Vancouver, Canada. This will be our longest road trip going through four states in America and three provin

No Bake Minions Pie

Image
Minion Banana Pie        Minions are interesting little creatures, aren't they. They love powerful things, they are extreme followers and they love bananas. Who doesn't love bananas? Well okay to be fair lots of people don't like bananas, but wait we don't have to use bananas to make minion pies. The health nut side of me is trying to claw its way out right but the kid in me remembers pudding cups and it pushing that crazy girl back down, way down deep inside of me. Oh, man snack packs how we loved you, your chocolaty goodness still fresh in our minds. Sometimes I use to mix chocolate and banana together :), (okay I still do that at the buffet. Anyways this no-bake recipe is really easy and comes in a cute little box. Here is what you need: Recipe 1 Box Minions Banana pudding mix Mini to sauce cups Butter Gram Crackers   Whipped Cream Milk You could use pre-made mini gram cracker cups but then they don't have lids and lids make

No Bake Graham Cracker Pie Crust

Image
Graham Cracker Pie Crust  I am a big fan of the graham cracker pie crust. It's one of those things that no matter who makes it you know it will taste good. Someone go through all these steps to make this crust and even bake it, but to be honest you don't have to. Here's what you need. Recipe  1 1/2 cup Graham Cracker crumbs 6 Tablespoons Butter (melted or softened whichever you like better) 1/3 cup sugar  Pie pan or cups Making the graham cracker crumbs. Place your graham cracker in a blender and press grate, if you don't have a blender or aren't allowed to use one this just gets more fun because you can crush them really easy with your hands. S'mores graham crackers are easier to crush with your hands by the way.  Once your graham crackers look like sand you can place them to the side and soften or melt your butter. You can soften the butter by heating it in the microwave for about 10 secon

Mini S'mores

Mini S'mores  No Bake Recipe  I am very excited today because I don't have an oven! This whole summer I haven't had an oven because I am staying with my friend. At first, this was a hard pill for me to swallow, I come from a long line of people who love to bake and cook. Not being able to make sweet treats every time a holiday rolls around, the weekend comes, we just want something sweet because the week has been hard, or a big Sunday dinner is hard. A while back I blogged about making mini chocolate covered pretzels and I got an idea! What are treats that can be made without an oven? Like if I was a kid or someone without an oven what could I really make, make good and make tasty. My mind exploded that day as I started to remember everything I have made in the past without an oven. So first up let's make S'mores. Remember when you weren't allowed near the fire, or near an oven or even a stove top at all. Oh, the dark days of only be

The mystery of “Bon Bon”

Image
The Mystery of “Bon Bon” Bon Bon appears a lot in the background of My Little Pony, she even has had a few speaking lines. Her blue and white cutie mark candies suggest she could be a candy maker; until one day they drop the bomb on us. Bon Bon is really Sweetie Drops a SPY!!! This actually makes a lot of sense because generation one Bon Bon was yellow with a purple mane and one bonbon candy for a cutie mark. Some people were saying that Sweetie Drops is a hybrid mix between gn1 Bon Bon and gn1 Gingerbread. Ok yeah, Gingerbread had a white mane and a pink, blue, and two colors of purple, and her cutie mark was a group of blue gingerbread men. She nodded to Gn1 Bon Bon's overall appearance and the blunt use of her name made us think she was the new Bon Bon.  I think she looks more Sweetie Belle from gen 3, and that it seems more likely that she would be a mix between Bon Bon and Sweetie Belle. She kind of has both their names and looks, because she really d

Twisty Hollow: Mini Twisty Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Image
Mini Twisty Chocolate Covered Pretzels  I am really enjoying this Twisty Hollow game and with the introduction to the boiling kettle I thought, “Well now the party is really getting started.” One of the best little treats to have at any party, or just to have around in general is chocolate covered pretzels. Most of the time people make these with straight pretzel sticks, but they are also really good with honey twist pretzels. Which just so happens to be what I have a bag of in my house right now! Here’s what you will need. What you need Honey pretzel twist Wilton’s chocolate candy melts Party ball sprinkles Mini candy bags String First get everything ready, open the bag of pretzels, and pour the sprinkles into a bowl. This will help you dip the pretzels into the chocolate before it starts to get hard again. Melting the chocolate This is easy, melt the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds stopping every 30 seconds to stir the chocolate until

Twisty Hollow: Twisty Bacon Dogs

Image
Twisty Bacon Dogs. While I was playing Twisty Hollow the other day I started to thinking about food. Which isn’t too hard to do since the game has a tea making grandma and sushi making chef. While the butcher was making some nice beef cuts, the chef was making bacon, and the mad scientists was turning the bacon back into pigs, I had a thought, “hey bacon wrapped hot dogs are great!” This is a little treat I found out about while walking down the street of the fashion district in LA. Bacon wrapped hot dogs was almost California’s state food until it was voted against due to the fact that they didn’t want to hurt their “healthy image”, but come on guys everyone deserves a little treat every now and again. So here is how you make twisty bacon dogs. What you will need Hot Dogs Bacon Hot Dog Buns First you need bacon and hot dogs, if you want to go healthier you could use turkey bacon and if you don't eat meat there’s also veggie bacon and veggie dogs which w

Twisty Hollow

Twisty Hollow  By Keylowha Twisty Hollow is a twisted little puzzle game made by Arkadium. Destruction, death and a trip to the underworld are all part of this cute little game. That’s right even though the big crazy bear killed the lumberjack and made grandma cry they game is actually cute. The small village people have cute big heads, and the game is filled with all kinds of characters like the mad scientist.  Unlike other puzzle games, Twisty Hollow is a played on a round board with four layers. From inner circle to outer circle the boards is up in layers. The inner layer is the characters, the middle layer is the tools that each character uses, the outer layer is the object the character needs to transformed, and the top layer is the character that wants what the characters make or wants to destroy what they characters make.  All of this happens whiles the player has to spin each layer to make a place the objects where they go while trying not to h

Yogurt Naan Recipe (Yeast Free)

Image
Yeast Free Yogurt Naan Recipe          Naan bread is always wonderful additive any meal. I mean how one can have a complete and well-rounded meal without bread but isn’t always something that people should or want to eat with every meal. It can cause weight gain because of its rich and fatty ingredients. Sugar, yeast, butter, and flour are the fat causing culprits. By taking out some of these ingredients we can make the bread a little less fatty. For example instead of yeast we can use yogurt when yogurt is mixed with milk and bake or cooked it acts as a yeast and helps to raise the bread and make it fluffy. Milk, flour, yogurt, and butter are naturally sweet so the sugar is also not needed. You can make the same tasty naan that we all know and love without the fuss of extra fats. Yogurt Naan recipe 4 cups plain flour 1 teaspoon salt 7 tablespoons butter softened 1 cup milk ½ yogurt Step 1: Mix all of the wet ingredients together, I suggest leaving
