Twisty Hollow

Twisty Hollow

By Keylowha

Twisty Hollow is a twisted little puzzle game made by Arkadium. Destruction, death and a trip to the underworld are all part of this cute little game. That’s right even though the big crazy bear killed the lumberjack and made grandma cry they game is actually cute. The small village people have cute big heads, and the game is filled with all kinds of characters like the mad scientist.

Unlike other puzzle games, Twisty Hollow is a played on a round board with four layers. From inner circle to outer circle the boards is up in layers. The inner layer is the characters, the middle layer is the tools that each character uses, the outer layer is the object the character needs to transformed, and the top layer is the character that wants what the characters make or wants to destroy what they characters make.

All of this happens whiles the player has to spin each layer to make a place the objects where they go while trying not to have them destroyed. On some levels, one of the layers is locked to add to the intensity of the game. This game was actually imagined by Arkadium a long time ago, but it wasn’t until they started making pocket games and being picky about which ones get released that they decided to release Twisty Hollow.

The game art is done in an amazing paper craft style which hasn’t been done much in the realm of pocket games or non-pocket games. When you play you have seen paper airplanes shot by as you move on to a new level. The characters or cute and funny, and the mini video clips between leaves are interesting with a dark sort of humorous undertone. The game has 50 levels with a hint of more to come.
