Twisty Hollow: Mini Twisty Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Mini Twisty Chocolate Covered Pretzels

I am really enjoying this Twisty Hollow game and with the introduction to the boiling kettle I thought, “Well now the party is really getting started.” One of the best little treats to have at any party, or just to have around in general is chocolate covered pretzels. Most of the time people make these with straight pretzel sticks, but they are also really good with honey twist pretzels. Which just so happens to be what I have a bag of in my house right now! Here’s what you will need.

What you need

Honey pretzel twist
Wilton’s chocolate candy melts
Party ball sprinkles
Mini candy bags
String

First get everything ready, open the bag of pretzels, and pour the sprinkles into a bowl. This will help you dip the pretzels into the chocolate before it starts to get hard again.

Melting the chocolate

This is easy, melt the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds stopping every 30 seconds to stir the chocolate until it is fully melted. Be careful not to burn the chocolate because it will never work if you do.

Tip: If you have a pretty go melt going with some small chunks of chocolate inside don’t heat the chocolate again just stir until smooth.

Once your chocolate is melted you can start to dip your pretzels.

Dip pretzel in chocolate making sure to let all of the extra chocolate fall off before adding the sprinkles to much chocolate makes it fall into the sprinkles and puddle onto the resting plate.
You can dab some chocolate off as will by dabbing the tip of the pretzel on the top of the melted chocolate in the dish.

Don’t dip the chocolate covered pretzel into the sprinkle, before the chocolate gets hard sprinkle the sprinkles over the top making sure to cover all sides.

Place finished pretzels on plate and place them in the refrigerator until chocolate hardens, which only takes a few seconds.

Put the pretzels in cute little candy bags and tie them closed.

Note: The good thing about this chocolate is it doesn’t have to be burning hot to work with. People of all ages can make these pretzels and make other candies out of this chocolate without getting burned. It comes in many colors and you can make colors to. It’s my go to chocolate for party sweets on the fly.
